Funny stuff on the Internet? Historically, the internet has not been all that funny. Sure, there have been joke sites around for a long time, but reading written jokes online just never quite did it for me (though occasionally I would find a really funny one). But everything changed when amateur video sites started popping up. I don't really spend much time looking for funny stuff on the web, so this is just a short list of some of the places I occasionally check out if I'm looking for a quick laugh. I've included some of my favorite online videos at the bottom of this page.

• CollegeHumor.com  If there's something funny on the internet, college students probably know about it. Just click the "popular" link to get a quick fix.
• Ebaum's World  Great collection of both funny and interesting stuff.
• ComedyCentral.com  Duh.
• FunnyJunk.com  Another good humor site.

• Dog bites foot to keep it from stealing his bone  (ebaumsworld.com)  My personal favorite. That back leg just keeps sneakin up on him.  
• Spoiled brat gets a new car (ebaumsworld.com)  I guess money really can't buy happiness.
• Cop shoots self in front of the class. (iFilm.com) It's like the script from a Police Academy movie, but in real life.  It's very important that you listen to what this guy says before he shoots himself.
• Trashcan prank doesn't go as planned. (CollegeHumor.com)  The trashcan prank has become so common that it just makes you appreciate it that much more when it goes wrong. And I wish I had that kid's reflexes.
• Funny Bicycle Accidents. (iFilm.com)  Nice collection of bike crashes set to music, individually they wouldn't be all that funny, but put together with tight editing and music, pretty funny.
• Backyard Wrestling goes wrong. (iFilm.com)  Stupidity hurts.

• Cracked.com  Home of Cracked magazine, good mix of funny stuff here
• The top 10 unintentionally worst company urls. From Independent Sources (browse the site for other interesting stuff).
• Satirium.com  What can I say, I like satire. This guy dedicated his site to it. Check out his links page for a nice collection of other humor sites.
• InventoryOps Lame Lists. Business Humor. This is some more of my stuff, it's just a single page and probably doesn't rank among the other sites on this page, but it's my stuff so I can post it if I like.
• Sickipedia.org  Great idea but . . .     So I was intentionally looking for a humor based wiki and I found Sickipedia. The good thing about an open wiki is that anyone can go there and add and edit content. The bad thing about an open wiki is that anyone can go there and add and edit content (and morons can accidentally or purposefully delete content). There is some really funny stuff here, but there is also some disgusting crap submitted by racists, perverts, and other sickos that is not even close to funny.  Then there's also a lot of stuff that is neither funny nor offensive. I still think this site is worth an occasional visit. So if you know a funny off-color joke, go here and post it, and maybe with time this will be come a much better site.
